Coffee Talk Nashville is a morning networking event that provides opportunities for those who are serious about growing their business to connect, market themselves, and walk away with potential leads for new business. And it is not just about coffee and talk. There is the "5 Minute Conversation" that happens during this networking meeting. Curious? Want to know more about that conversation? The founders of this concept are two successful business people in the Nashville area. Nicole Dunigan, a Vice President in the banking industry, and Shanda Williams, a real estate agent. The idea was born out of a desire between these two friends and professionals to create an opportunity for Black business owners and others to come together and grow their business, thereby allowing more dollars to circulate within the Black business community.

Nicole is a Vice President at one of the leading banks in the south. In the past seven years she was a mortgage banker helping many families and rendering services to several of the area's top companies, including the Tennessee Titans. She earned a degree in business from Tennessee State University in Nashville.

Shanda is a full-time realtor specializing in residential real estate. Born and raised in Natchez, MS, Shanda graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in social work. Her ultimate goal is to assist her customers, by teaming with them, in purchasing the home of their choice.

Once these two professionals presented this concept to the Black Chamber, it was love at first sight. Supporting Coffee Talk Nashville is one way that the Black Chamber is contributing to economic development within the Black business community of Nashville.

In 2006, the Black Chamber will continue to sponsor Coffee Talk Nashville and we encourage our membership to take advantage of this wonderful networking opportunity.
